I spent Saturday morning at the library. I was enamored with these pink music books all lined up in a row. When I went to find a reading spot I spotted this shadow from a windsor chair.

I have a romantic fascination with laundromats. Something about strangers cleaning their underwear together in a room full of symmetry. The shot to the right is someone else's clothes. My laundry was boring darks and grays.
I woke up at 5:30 am because our pipes had frozen and I thought I could hear them bursting. The noise turned out to a be a revving car engine. Since I was wide I awake I braved the below zero temperatures to grabbed these gorgeous sunrise shots over the Atlantic ocean. I was trying to play with the proportions of the sky and water. As if the planes were stripes in a painting.
When I first stated this new blog I thought I would take a photo every morning and evening. I realized that wouldn't be so realistic for me to do everyday for the rest of the year. Here are two shots that I took when I was still on that theme. To the left is shot of me at the grocery store. The coffee cup holders on the cart crack me up! On the right, is a boiling pot of water for my morning coffee.
I took these two shots in the morning. On the left a bed that needed to be made and on the right dishes that needed to be done.
Snowy shoes from the window of my favorite coffee shop and a winter tree at sunset. I love these two grouped together.
One of my favorite beaches in my new town. I love it even more in the winter. Frozen seaweed to the right is just magical. The photos together feel off but I like the push/pull of the combo.
